So quarter started, and I have been sitting by the cute ladies who are serious students. Anyways, I strike up a conversation relating to academics to break the ice, and introduce myself. I managed to get the numbers for all the girls, but I've always wondered why girls will never call or take the initiative for a get together. I'm very confident in person, but I'm not the best on the phone. Explanation, and advice would be greatly appreciated.Ladies why do you never call a guy once you exchange phone numbers?
they're probably not interested. maybe they are looking for a polite way to let you leave them alone.
maybe ask them if they want to get coffee or something after class. that way, if they say yes, you already have one foot in the door!

Just because they exchanged numbers with you doesn't necessarily mean they are interested. Sometimes they just don't want to be mean by refusing it. If you'll check, they might have given you a fake number. It happens all the time.
They expect you to call since you asked for the numbers.
