How do I place page numbers in the upper right-hand corner inside the margin of the paper?

I have to turn in my finial tomorrow and I am having the hardest time with putting a different number on each page. In the upper right hand coner I have-

but it's showing the same on every page, I need to have all the pages numbered, I have 12 pages. Somebody please help me???How do I place page numbers in the upper right-hand corner inside the margin of the paper?
What program are you using? It is not the same for every program. In MS-Word you just go to Insert and select Page Number

depending on what you are using you can add a page header , and there are usually codes for things like page number . You need the manual or help text for your specific word procesor though .


In Microsoft word , its headers and footer and you would type





Document Title %26amp;p for the title and page number
If you are using Microsoft Word, go to Insert-%26gt;Page Numbers, and select Top (Header) and in the next panel put Right. But when you finish change it back or all future documents will be the same.

click view.





scroll down and click header and foot.





a box will pop up click the icon with the number sign on a piece of paper.





type in your text in the right spot and space over the whole thing.





voila there's ur page numbers.
I do not know what kind of sotware you are using but I supose Word as it is the most popular. If that is the case then the only thing you will have to do is Instert %26gt; Header and then you'll have the button on the left upper corner that says page number click on it and select the position, after the number has been written there you can write anything you want next to the number and it will stay like that but the number will change in each page. That was made for Word 2007 hope it helps.
