The registration number is either on the CD case or on a sticker on the PC.Where are the 25 numbers needed to reinstall windows xp?
On the case or package that the CD came, or on a sticker somewhere on or in your computer case.
ther is usually a little sticker on your PC with the number
If you already have windows installed and can't locate the product key, download this utility to retrieve it from the registry: http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinde鈥?/a>
If you cannot locate the sticker with the CD key on it, the call Microsoft and they will ask you a few questions to identify the disc you are using it genuine product or not. Then once they confirm this, they will issue you with a new CD key. It's FREE. I know, I had to do that once.
Ok well if you have an friend that has an bootable installation CD of WINDOWS XP it will work but you have to reinstall that CD from an friend and insert it when it says to insert windows XP CD use the code on that CD because what i have found out that each Windows XP CD has its own unique product key. It will load but your PC will not be registered but will keep that operating system still running
there should be (legally) a windows sticker on your computer case with the license key.
Right on the side of the case or on the back of cd case, if you bought it legally
